Comprising 11 regional districts, The PA Trappers Association strives to promote the conservation and sustainability of our furbearer resources guided by science-based management strategies. They aim to preserve our trapping heritage so that those that succeed us can enjoy the same privileges. The PTA provides education and outreach to both trappers and the non-trapping public focusing on the benefits of trapping, proper techniques, and promoting ethical trapline behaviors.
The Pennsylvania State Fox & Coyote Hunter's Association was established in 1936 and continues to gain membership participation and enrollment. They are the primary advocate for the fox and coyote hunter when dealing with the PGC and other agencies. Committed to making the sports of fox and coyote hunting and field trialing available to everyone, they take the necessary steps needed to preserve the tradition and heritage of hunting with hounds.
Dedicated to providing sportsmen and women the opportunity to participate in a sport historically rooted in our American heritage, the Pennsylvania Flyers Association (PAFA) was established by a group of shooting enthusiasts who wished to promote and protect bird shooting for future generations. Today, their membership has broadened to include individual sportsmen, sportsmen’s clubs and regulated shooting preserves throughout Pennsylvania.
