Providing leadership and advocacy for our Outdoor Heritage of Hunting, Trapping, Angling, Boating, the Shooting Sports, Second Amendment and our Natural Resources with a constant presence on Capitol Hill on behalf of sportsmen, sportswomen & conservationists.
To protect and conserve Pennsylvania's natural resources, outdoor heritage and Second Amendment Rights
PFSC is recognized as the premiere voice for conservation and our outdoor heritage in Pennsylvania
- Provide an active presence and strong voice on Capitol Hill and with our Resource Agencies.
- Membership Development
- Income growth and sustainable funding
PFSC believes all wildlife management should be based on science-led, resource-first management established in the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation.
PFSC will oppose legislative attempts to micro-manage wildlife/aquatic seasons and bags/creel limits. Resource management decisions should be managed by subject matter experts, not based on an emotional or political whim.

PFSC is the only state-wide sportsmen's organization with full-time boots on the ground at the Capitol. We have a long record of successfully protecting your hunting, trapping, fishing and Second Amendment rights!
As fewer and fewer elected officials hunt, fish or shoot, it is more important than ever for sportsmen to have representation providing a strong voice to advocate and educate on their behalf.
More individual voices lead to a louder collective voice when we go to our politicians on issues affecting the rights and privileges of Pennsylvania’s sportsmen and women. We may not have the deep pockets our opponents bring to the table, but we do come with passionate grassroots supporters and credibility. Organizing our affiliated clubs and individual members under the umbrella of one organization is a force multiplier and creates optimum influence and protection for all.
It's a vital endeavor.
PFSC’s Director of Government Affairs keeps in touch with our legislators and resource agencies and provides full-time “boots on the ground” in the halls of the Capitol and around Harrisburg on your behalf. Mike Kriner shares your passion for conservation, hunting, fishing, trapping and Second Amendment Rights.
PFSC has a proven track record of effectively fighting for the issues supported by Pennsylvania’s grassroots conservationists.
You will lose your voice in the legislative and regulatory processes without representation. Wise sportsmen/women understand the necessity of supporting groups that are going to bat for them.
Too many outdoor participants take public lands for granted, take their Second Amendment rights for granted, take political intervention for granted. PFSC needs your support to keep your rights intact!
PFSC holds two semi-annual conferences (March & September), regional (divisions) and county meetings throughout the year, providing an extensive network of hunting, fishing, trapping and shooting clubs and individuals across Pennsylvania keeping an eye on the issues for you!
PFSC Affiliated Clubs and individual members have a voice on all the issues affecting our outdoor heritage and Second Amendment Rights.
As a member, you will receive PFSC's quarterly publication - the Conservation Lantern and regular email updates on the issues YOU CARE ABOUT.
We need individual members and clubs – Becoming a PFSC member is a step in the right direction to ensure the future of our natural resources, hunting/fishing/trapping heritage and Second Amendment Rights.
Pennsylvanians need a solid PFSC to defend and protect the already limited funds required to maintain necessary habitat improvement projects, conservation efforts, and other projects that ensure we all have access to our favorite wild places.
The anti-hunting and anti-gun supporters have fragmented us into small groups. Divide and conquer is a time-tested strategy that works because when we are not united (too many special interest groups), we can’t afford to fight back against the political punches thrown at us.
We must create the most influential grassroots effort that supports science-based wildlife, fisheries, and habitat management. We want to ensure our legislators and regulators always consider the resource FIRST. And we want management decisions made by subject matter experts, not based on an emotional or political whim.
While our Director of Government Affairs is leading and organizing the charge in Harrisburg to represent sportsmen’s interests, we still need you to ensure your legislators know your views on issues.
We rely on volunteer efforts for membership drives, fundraising, and soliciting donations. We operate with an all-volunteer board of officers, directors, and delegates who take money from their own pockets to represent you and attend meetings and events.
We are seeking passionate volunteers interested in contributing their time, efforts, and talent to our mission.
If you want to become more active with PFSC, please get in touch with an officer or email info@pfsc.org.
PFSC’s strength and direction come from its grassroots members – our affiliated clubs and individual members. Like all membership-driven organizations, we rely on membership dues for financial support; however, that is not your membership’s only benefit. Our real strength (clout) comes from our numbers and the fact that we are a “bottom-up” organization, taking our direction on the issues from our grassroots membership.
PFSC members are hunters, trappers, archers, anglers, gun owners, dog owners, and conservationists.
We are working-class folks whose passion is the great outdoors. We know and share your love of the outdoors and fight daily to protect your rights and opportunities.
While many special interest groups represent specific individual interests, PFSC represents all sportsmen's interests to ensure you can pursue your passions!
We need to count you as a member (size matters) and your financial support (providing full-time representation isn't cheap) to keep looking out for sportsmen and women.
Join Today – Supporting PFSC will help keep PFSC an insurmountable force on the Front Lines – So You Can Be in the Woods, On the Water or At the Range!
We do the political stuff, so you don't have to!
PFSC understands your passions. Supporting PFSC allows us to be the eyes and ears of sportsmen & women, and conservationists with full-time "boots on the ground" in the halls of the State Capitol.

"HB 1188 has been signed by the Governor leaving one last step which is waiting to hear from the PA Game Commissioners on what types of Night Vision Optics they will legalize. It has been a long road for me but not without support from the PFSC! A special thanks to Harold Daub who picked up the baton and ran with it for this bill. Thank you for all the appointments you set up with Senators so that I could talk and demonstrate the equipment. I do believe that paved the way for it to fly through Senate. In total, thank you PFSC for the platform, for the support, and for the guidance you provided along the way. I am a proud life member. My gratitude is overflowing!"
"As long as luck and fortune hold out, we hope to make this an annual practice. Please accept this check of Five Hundred Dollars to use in whatever way best serving the Pennsylvania Federation of Sportsmen & Conservationists. The outstanding and selfless devotion to sportsmen & women throughout Pennsylvania from all of you is boundless. With gratitude, the members of Harford R&G Club."
"PFSC does great things in Pennsylvania. We need organizations like them to interact with sportsmen and women, and to educate the legislature when changes are proposed that affect our hunting, fishing, trapping, and recreational shooting heritage.”
"Thank You for what you are doing. Keep Up the Good Work.”
