The PA Trappers Association, comprised of 11 regional Districts, strives to promote the conservation and sustainability of our furbearer resources guided by science-based management strategies. We aim to preserve our trapping heritage so that those that succeed us can enjoy the same privileges. The PTA provides education and outreach to both trappers and the non-trapping public focusing on the benefits of trapping, proper techniques, and promoting ethical trapline behaviors.
The Pennsylvania State Fox & Coyote Hunter's Association was established in 1936 and continues to gain membership participation and enrollment. We are the primary advocate for the fox and coyote hunter when dealing with the Pennsylvania Game Commission and other agencies. We strive to make the sports of fox and coyote hunting and field trialing available to everyone. We take the necessary steps needed to preserve the tradition and heritage of hunting with hounds.
The Pennsylvania Flyers Association is dedicated to providing sportsmen and women the opportunity to participate in a sport historically rooted in our American heritage.
The Pennsylvania Flyers Association (PAFA) was established by a group of shooting ethusiasts committed to promotion and protecting bird shooting for future generations. Today, our membership has broadened to include individual sportsmen, sportsmen’s clubs and regulated shooting preserves throughout Pennsylvania.
Why Join?
The long and revered tradition of our sport has faced increasing threats from those who seek to end all hunting. We need to act now to stop their persecution. Their broad reach now includes agriculture, the use of lead bullets in hunting ammunition, and the banning of selected species throughout the U.S.
